Yesterday Astrid and I boosted Mapbender's performance at Telascience by
applying Apache's Gzip compression. Mapbender's load time should be
reduced to approximately 25% (previously 837 KB, now 197 KB).
So now working with Mapbender at Telascience should be less painful.
