I think Mapbender can explicitly set the encoding in all documents it sends
and delivers. In how far is Apache involved?
If you define a default character set in apache (AddDefaultCharset)
this overrides all settings set via meta-tags, because apache settings
are in the http-header.
I meant explicitly sending http headers in PHP. Is this overridden by
Apache?
