The election process [1] has been accepted [2] by the PSC. We are now
starting the nomination phase. The election itself will start next
Monday, I will send another mail.
I nominate Karim Malhas (kmq) as chair of the Mapbender project. He is
currently employed at WhereGroup, where he has worked on Mapbender and
contributed both excellent code and ideas to the project. In my opinion
he is the ideal person to lead the 3.0 development.
