As coding examples and tutorials are on our road map [1] (as
nice-to-have), I have taken the liberty of adding another one [2] for
Mapbender 2.7. We have been using this technique in some projects, and
it's useful if you want to make different modules interoperable through
the "edit application elements" settings.
Not sure if it's helpful but at least it's now documented.
