I also observed that gui and gui1 are very slow. But they show up in the
end. On Windows they are veryvery slow.
I also assume that this is connected to the WMC change.
When you set the element_var loadFromSession to 0 (element loadwmc) gui1
and gui2 load much faster.
We should add the element_var to each application and set the default to 0?

Hi there,
currently I'm running into problems when installing Mapbender from trunk.
The problem is in the applications gui1 and gui2. They simply don't
load. There are no errors whatsoever, not in PHP or JS. I assume it must
have something to do with the WMC that is generated on start-up, as both
applications use EPSG:31467.
I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 with Postgres 8.4, PostGIS 1.5 and PHP 5.3. The
mapbender_setup.php is all green.
Another problem I stumbled upon was in template_openlayers: Here there
are still references to the minified jQuery UI files. The reason is that
the INSERT of the application is after the UPDATE of the minified files. I
have moved the UPDATE to the end of the SQL and committed it to trunk.
I also replaced some occurences of split by explode, as split is
deprecated.
If you have any ideas why gui1 and gui2 don't load, please share.
