Hi,
as of today the git branches for Mapbender3 in the following
repositories have been reorganized to utilize the Git Flow [1] workflow:
* https://github.com/mapbender/mapbender-starter.git
* https://github.com/mapbender/mapbender.git
* https://github.com/mapbender/fom.git
* https://github.com/mapbender/owsproxy3.git
Basically that means that daily development happens in the branch
"develop", while the "master" branch will contain only the published
releases as marked by their tags. Right now the master branch is missing
until the next release tag has been created.
All old branches which are not used for that workflow have been renamed
to "deprecated/<name>" and will be deleted by the end of this year.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN that any commits or tags are lost - or will be lost
-, just the branch names have been changed.
This is also reflected in the conventions chapter in the Mapbender3
documentation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
