Today we relaunched the WhereGroup OSM Demo WMS. It is available under
the same address but has some changes. The Service is used in the
Mapbender demo applications.
* Service covers the whole world (before it covered only D-A-CH
Germany-Austria-Switzerland)
* Service layer changed: You have two layers osm (was there before) and
osm_gray (old WMS offered osm, osm-grey, osm_at)
* Supported projections: EPSG:4326, EPSG:3857, EPSG:25832, EPSG:25833,
EPSG:31466, EPSG:31467, EPSG:31468, EPSG:3068, EPSG:3035, EPSG:2056,
EPSG:5650
* Supported image formats: image/png and image/jpeg
* Refactored Lyrk-Mapstyle
* OSM data is updated every day, tiles are updated at least every two
weeks
* powered by PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Imposom, Mapnik & MapProxy
If you used the service in your applications you have to update the
service to get the actual Service information and layers.
The OSM data is not only available as WMS but also as WMS-C, WMTS, TMS.
