das Mapbender-Entwicklungsteam hat die Mapbender Bugfix-Version 4.0.3 am 2024-10-28 veröffentlicht. Herzlichen Dank an alle Beteiligten, auch an alle, die Bugs über die Mailing-Liste oder das Ticket-System gemeldet haben.
Die neue Version ist ein Bugfix Release.Das Update bestehender Mapbender-Installationen auf die Version 4.0.3 ist problemlos möglich (siehe Changelog [6]).
Das gebaute Paket findet sich unter [1] und der Tag der Version 4.0.3 unter [2].
Neuerungen der Version 4.0.0 / 4.0.3 ------------------------------------Zur Übersicht der Neuerungen im Major Release 4.0.0 (26.06.2024) möchten wir auf den ausführlichen Visual Changlog-Artikel unter Aktuelles verweisen [3]. Darüberhinaus bietet das Changelog eine komplette Übersicht der Änderungen [5].
Docker ------Das Mapbender Projekt stellt nun auch auf dockerHub Images bereit [7]. Für die Version 4.0.3 liegt nun eine neue Version bereit.
Die Dokumentation zu Docker findet sich unter [8]. Dokumentation -------------Derzeit wird auch die Dokumentation auf die Version 4 umgestellt. Sie findet sich unter [9].
Umstieg auf die neue Version ----------------------------PHP 8.1 ist die älteste unterstützte PHP-Version. PHP 8.2 und 8.3 werden vollständig unterstützt.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen ein Update auf Mapbender 4.0.3. Ein Update von 3.3.x auf Version 4.0.3 ist möglich. Es gibt aber ein paar Schritte zu beachten. Lesen Sie daher unbedingt das Dokument UPGRADING.md [10].Der Migrationsleitfaden [11] in die Dokumentation enthält zusätzliche Hinweise für das Update auf neue Versionen.

The new version is a bugfix release.Existing Mapbender installations can be updated to version 4.0.3 without any problems (see Changelog [6]).

Switching to the new version ----------------------------PHP 8.1 is the oldest supported PHP version. PHP 8.2 and PHP 8.3 are fully supported. An update from 3.3.x to version 4.0.3 is possible. However, there are a few steps to follow.
It is therefore essential that you read the document UPGRADING.md [10].The migration guide in the documentation contains additional information on updating to new versions [11]
