Dear Gertjan Many Thanks.
1. I am using version 1.0.1. Therefore when I put <noPreload> in, it doesn't make a difference. I will need to upgrade. 2. I have grouped the layers through geoserver. http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/What+is+the+Layer+Group+option. I then made the ranges non-overlapping by using the elements <MaxScaleDenominator> & <MinScaleDenominator>. I then referenced the group in the context file. This seems to work. 3. Thank you. On version 1.5-alpha1, there's an option for MapPane: <noPreload>true</noPreload> that only loads the visible layers. > 2. Is their a widget that displays the current scale? There are two: MapScaleBar and MapScaleText. For an example of MapScaleBar see: http://demo.communitymapbuilder.org/demo/mapbuilder/demo/mapViewer/index.htm l and for MapScaleText see: http://demo.communitymapbuilder.org/demo/mapbuilder/demo/basic/index.html Kind regards, -- -- Gertjan van Oosten, [EMAIL PROTECTED], West Consulting B.V., +31 15 2191 600 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
