Dear All I would like to create a button in MapBuilder which returns the xy coordinates of a single click on the mapPane. Would anybody be able to help?
I have seen the Add Button Tutorial (http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAP/Add+Button+Tutorial) but I am afraid that I am not sure what to put in the newwidget.js and how to update the config.xsd. I then want to feed the xy coordinates into a function which I have created in Javascript which sends a xmlhttp request to the geoserver wfs using a DWithin filter. This function is currently being driven from a html form button which doesn't allow the trigger event to pick up the xy coordinates. Thank you all very much in advance.
