This should work:

<widgets>
  <Loading2 id="xyz">
    <htmlTagId>nodeIDtoHold output</htmlTagId>
    <imageSrc>url_to_image</imageSrc>
    <textMessage>message to output</textMessage>
  </Loading2>
</widgets>

both properties are optional, if not supplied the "docLoading" text from 
the text translation files will be used.  If you are using a release 
version of MapBuilder you can also supply a <mapConatinerId> property 
which points to a MapPane widget but that won't work in the trunk 
version because of the recent OL changes.  We just need to change that 
to attach to the OL map viewport in the javascript file.

htmlTagId and the id attribute work in the usual way for widgets.
