Hi Marcos,
i think i understand your problem now, but i'm afraid not to be the
right person for this problem. Zooming, panning etc. are actually
clientside issues and must be solved with js - I cannot see the
interface from mapbuilder to another system at this duty here???
Anyway. Generally speaking pure html (static or script generated) may
be the best interface from mapbuilder to another server-side
application, because you can reach every html form function with the
implicit JSP- (servlet-) objects like "request". For example with
'request.getParameter("someTag-ID")' i get all checked checkbox elements
of a form with the ID "someTag-ID". As i wrote in a former posting: if
you have to code java from a javascript-function its in principle
possible (like with the rhino framework from mozilla). But they are
always tailored for the special browser, hence proprietary and hence
not portable to another system (not to be used with another brower). I
hope the answer helped a bit (although i still think your problem
isn't a problem of interfacing to another system).
Best regards
Albrecht
