Hi,
The easiest way i found was to use ogr2ogr. You'll get it with gdal package,
for example. The syntax, for a shp in input : ogr2ogr -f "GML" myfile.xml
myfile.shp
You'll obtain gml that is usable with mapbuilder/openlayers. I've done it
that way.
