Hi,
There is a new "repeat image along line" feature in JOSM. The keywords
should be pretty close to what Thomas Davie suggested in Aug. 2012 [1].
way {
repeat-image: "pattern.png";
repeat-image-align: (center|top|bottom);
repeat-image-offset: (number);
repeat-image-spacing: (number);
}
