Just for reference, I got this working by using a different ODBC driver - the Oracle Instant Client ODBC driver, version 10.2.0.3. http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/oci/instantclient/htdocs/ winsoft.html Keith

The connection tests successfully in Studio, but Show Tables returns only a fraction of the tables in the database. The ODBC connection itself seems to be OK, as I can list and link to the tables in Oracle with Microsoft Access. The user ID is in upper case. The ODBC driver I am using is 'Oracle in XE' which I assume was installed with a local version of Oracle XE. ODBC itself is at version 3.525.1117.0. The remote database is 10g. Any suggestions as to how to get this working properly are greatly appreciated. Keith This email and any attached files are confidential and copyright protected.
