Yes, I see the problem now in IE 7 with the tiled map. It is much slower. Actually, I think it only appears slower. In Firefox, the user can see the individual tiles populate on the map while IE waits for them all before the entire map is displayed. It looks like the cumulative time to display all of the tiles is about the same, it just behaves much worse in IE. Whether this is a problem with the AJAX viewer or IE, I don't know.
