It works, thanks. This seems to be a bug to me. I checked and didn't
see any bug reports relating to this - did I miss something? If not
I'll submit a bug.

Hmm. Maybe something to try would be turning on symbols....to see if
it's a bug that only occurs when you've got no symbols showing, but do
have labels.

specify some additional settings....If you set them to be dynamic,
they shouldn't overlap - but that will cause some to not show up,
