I have PostgreSQL installed on my test server, so I can't be sure if it's libpq that is making the difference. I am able to get past Test Connection, but get an error saving the resource. I believe that this may bave been because I was connecting to a non-PostGIS schema though. I still plan to start a VM from scratch with absolutely nothing extra installed. The problem with this one is that I installed and uninstalled a lot of packages testing things for the MapGuide compile. Jason
