The approach for that would be to include the map in an iframe on your page.
Then query the map for the load event via. _javascript_.
Once detected, call your aspx code and set the selection.
Then call map.refresh().

I’ll read the documentation as instructed. Basically I want to load a given map when my asp.net page loads and query it to highlight a given parcel on the map and have the map displayed in the viewer.
