Zac, Basically, it's the same thing. MGE 2009 is based on MGOS 2.0 plus Autodesk FDO providers for MS SQL and Oracle servers (Map 3D uses them too), plus DWG and DWF drivers for MG, plus few other things I forgot to mention here. I think that MG core and web extensions part are shared.
