Hi,
I am using mapguide 1.2. I have large set of MrSid files. Each of them
is around 250 MB.
When I am using layers created on these MrSid files the mapguide server
becomes quite slow.
As a matter of fact with 10 users the system almost hangs.
My current system configuration
MapGuide : 1.2
GDAL version : 1.3
Viewer : dwf viewer.
server Processor : dual core 3000 MHz
server Memory : 2 GB
Mapguide response time : 25 s ( average time mapguide takes to generate
dwf files when there are 4 users)
Using Ajax viewer and enabling the tile service the performance improves
but my clients requirement is dwf viewer.
Is there any external tile service that can be used with mapgude?
Is there any other way to improve the performance?
