I said that your .ecw must be in the same coord. system. For example, WGS84
if you want to show in Google Earth, and the bounding box inside this
proyection. A valid example of bbox (my city):

<Bounds SRS="EPSG:4326" west="-7.17" south="37.27" east="-7.13"
north="37.28" abstract="true"/>
