Hi, .ric is the index file for MpGuide 6.5. You get an equivalent xml index file created by gdal (gdal notes web page) when you add your tiffs. the .tfw files contain the extens for the tif files but if your tiffs are geotiffs then these would already contain this extent info within its header. You can view the xml index file by clicking on the Edit optiion within MG connection page. make sure the coordinate system is the same as your map's coord system. Also make sure that the extents within the coordinate system are good enough to enclose all of your tifs.
