I'm not sure you that you can set up such a table in Studio with Oracle.
You can create an ODBC connection to the Oracle database instead.
On the ODBC FeatureSource setup page, you can set up tables and their x,y columns.
Such a mapped table can then be used as a layer.

Hi Max ,
Thanks for your response,

I have non spatial data at all, but i got x,y values in oracle.
Could you tell me how to do with "use non spatial table to create points" ?

Thanks again.

Hi,
I think if u have no spatial data then u have to link some spatil
data with non spatial Oracle Database by using join or if u have non
spatial data in oracle with x,y values then u can use that non spatial
table to create points.
Max !

Subject: [mapguide-users] Create layer from oracle database without
spatial data

Hi all,
Is that passable to create layer from an oracle database that without
spatial data? (by studio 2009 or something else?)
If not , are there any kind of way that could build my point data (ex:
land-mark) on map?

I'll be very appreciate with any useful information
