I've tried like you said:
$userInformation = new MgUserInformation($sessionId);
$siteConnection = new MgSiteConnection();
$siteConnection->Open($userInformation);
$site = $siteConnection->GetSite();
$user = $site->GetUserForSession();
echo("user".$user);
It works fine!
This is as I know relatively knew in the API (GetUserForSession), I wondering
it was implemented, but wasn't sure.
I'll take my widget further that with and will let you know (and the community)
if you are interressed to try it.
