We've been experimenting with PostGIS in Maestro. We also had similar problems with PostGIS data not rendering and tried several different variants of the FDO PostGIS provider before we found one that worked. The unofficial logged 3.3 version that can be found at http://www.geomapgis.com/web/geomap-group/fdo/index.html worked for us, although we still have issues with the spatial extents of layers not being honored in preview windows. The extent shown in preview windows is the entire world regardless of what we set as the maximum spatial extent.

I can manage to connect using MGSudio 2009 and also Maestro, but for some reason my PostGIS data continue not to be rendering on my preview or map. I did manage to open the same data using QGIS 11.0 and it shows fine. The coordinate system is WGS84. Even if I set the map coordinate system to be the same, it still is not displaying. I have defined styling also. Any idea why?
