Hello Padmini, I had similar errors, that is unable to login to the MapGuide Site Administrator and I put together some notes on http://faculty.unlv.edu/jensen/html/MapGuide/#MGUninstall installing and uninstalling MapGuide which solved the problem on my end. It might help you.
