I didn't have any problems with IIS dying.  How long did it take before IIS 
failed, and did you notice anything in particular that caused it?

I was going to do that, but gave up. mg keeps killing IIS, so I went to Apache.

I had to get MapGuide running on Windows Server 2008 this week and came up with 
some step-by-step instructions on how to do it on IIS 7 without requiring IIS 6 
compatibility mode.  In case someone else needs this I have posted the
