AFAIK, there is no way to draw rectangles from corner points without creating the geometries and inserting them. If you read out the geometry, it is quite easy to read the coordinates (which will be cornes in a rectangle).

Hi everybody,
I've got a MySql DB on which there are objects coordinates. For example I've got coordinates of slots centers, where a slot is a rectangle. For other rectangles I've got the coordinates of each of the 4 corners.
Is it possible to draw a rectangle reading its center coordinates?
And is it possible knowing its corners coordinates?
Cheers
Carmelo
