first up the GDAL fdo provider (ie for raster support) is rather buggy
at the moment

you will end up with a crashed server, ie it's not production safe at the moment

with 2.0 rasters must be in the same projection as your map, 2.1 when it's
released supports raster reprojection

alas at the moment, your going to be pushing the proverbial uphill
until the provider is stable
