We are using materialized views, you can create spatial index on them. I wouldn't say it is diff., it is just diff. way how MG and Map3d creates feature queries. FDO itself is same. Good to hear that 8.7 is working. Haris

I suppose because a view by nature is non deterministic. Rumor has it a materialized view is indexable but if I have to go that way I figured I might as well just create a table from the view 'cause I know that works. Yes, it works fine and all is well. It is very obvious at this point that FDO w/Map3d is a different animal than FDO w/MGOS. By the way 8.7 has been working flawlessly and with the speed increase we can now cease the constant conversion to sdf!!! r, dennis -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/KingOra-8.7---view-w-geometry-w-out-underling-table -tp2571093p2574805.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
