MapGuide supports three modes of access:
None (eg. deny access)
Read
Write (implies read?)
There is no Map Author for MGOS/MGEP, there was a Map Author application
for MapGuide 6.5.
You can use Studio or Maestro to set permissions.
You can create, modify and delete users in the Site Administrator.
Beware that the security system is a bit backwards, eg. permissions
are combined, rather than overridden.
If a user is denied access to a layer or featuresource, the entire map
that contains the layer fails to render.
