The server is not maintained as much as it could be, that might explain
the trouble you are experiencing.
I have no info on requirements.

Please consider using a descriptive email subject.
"Query geographic data" is a VERY broad statement.
You can see properties of features and create a buffer without
programming.
Pan, Zoom and measure is avalible as standard commands.
