Our MGOS 2.1 running on Windows 2008 32 bit, with 4 GB of memory, processor Intel Xeon 2.50 GHz (2 processor). Oracle 10.2 running on CentOS 5 with the same specification. >From oracle side, i created a profile for King.OSGeo with IDLE_TIME 10 minutes and limit the resource. By this setting, I hope oracle will kill inactive session automatically within 10 minutes but unfortunately King.FDO complain about not logged on. What i do right now is killing oracle session manually every 10 minutes but this solution still facing some problem especially when our MGOS server accessed by a lot of user intensively (many click on selectable feature). The main problem are (from MGOS log): 1. Out of memory. bad allocation 2. Cannot create any more connections to the OSGeo.KingOracle FDO provider. 3. ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
If you found a good oracle setting that works with MGOS 2.1 and King.Oracle 3.4 pls let me know..
