it turned out that the MapGuide Service didn't start beause of an
timeout. Seems to be an Windows Issue - I started the Service manually
and everything is ok.

Hi,
I'm trying to run MapGuide Server and MapGuide Server Extensions on one
Maschine. After installing, every thing works fine - until reboot.
For some reason I can't get a connection from the Webserver Extension to
the MapGuide Server after reboot the maschine.
Reinstalling the Server "solves" the Problem - til next reboot.
Any sugesstions?
