I am not sure it is possible...I get the same results as far as speed and the different data connections you described.

It seems slower than shapefiles when previewing in MapGuide Studio. I find SDF format to be the fastest of the 3 formats. I originally had a shapefile about 100 MB in size. The loading time in MapGuide: SQL Server - 41 seconds Shapefile - 30 seconds SDF - 15 seconds Any ideas how to make loading from SQL Server data faster with MapGuide? Does it have something to do with FDO provider? -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/SQL-Server-2008-slow-performance-tp3496285p3496285.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users Important notice to recipients: Copies of documents that may be relied upon by you are limited to the printed copies (also known as 'hard copies') that are signed and sealed by the Engineer and/or Land Surveyor.
