Hi Gary, Yes, I've figured that out. Unfortunately the data that I have to work with is mapinfo format, which geoserver doesn't seem to currently support.
I have, however, got a few tentative steps further- if I add the Width and Height parameters into the config file for my wms FeatureSource, in the section where you can add Time and Elevation parameters, then they are included in the GetMap request, but not all the time, and I'm not sure which changes I made in the interim that stopped them being called. I'm also having issues with the bounding box for the layer being sent in the wrong SRS but I'm not sure yet whether this is a problem with MGOS or mapserver.
