Thanks Pietro, Will that not just hide the entire map though...?
My map is made up of 5 mapguide layers rendered by OpenLayers as 1 baselayer image (I think!?) will i not have to query mapguide again (server side) and then refresh the map with javascript so that the map then appears with only 4 layers showing? e.g. In maestro i have the following layers: Os_250k Os_50k Os_25k Os_10k Countys When these layers are renderd in OpenLayers they appear as "MyMap" as a base layer. If i want to hide the Countys layer i must have to send a php request to the server, i cant just do it client side can i? even if i do know the layer object Id.
