Okay - I installed 2.1 on Windows 2008. I migrated my data from 1.1 by exporting/importing a package. I migrated my application, and it was working for a little while - until suddenly it wasn't. After about a half hour of the application working, attempts to load my site came up with "Error 503 - Service Unavailable". IIS was still working, but I couldn't access my site, mapagent or mapadmin. I rebooted the server and started the mapguide service (for some reason it never starts automatically even though it's configured to do just that, but that's a separate issue). Now, my site still does not load & I get the message "Cannot establish connection" when I try to log in to mapadmin. I verified that the MapGuide service is started and the mgserver.exe process is indeed running. I can probably reinstall MapGuide, reload my data and get everything running again, but I'm a bit concerned about what could have possibly caused this. Obviously, I would like to avoid this in the future. Any ideas?
