A question to those that are more familiar with Linux. What is the standard practice for running something the equivalent as a service on Windows?
I ask this question based on the recent email where the user had not started either Apache or MapGuide. This has happened several times so it would seem to me that we should be configuring installs to make these process run at startup. What is the best way to implement this and what kind of installer work would be required?
