Hey Guys I am running mapguide on a virtual red hat Linux server. Specs: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5570 @ 2.93GHz RAM 3GB
It take about 1 minute to load Ajaxviewer in firefox (cold start) and I am very close to the actual server. I have about 10 data sources. The map package is about 19MB. I am wondering if it will make a big difference to the performance if mapguide is moved to a dedicated server?
