Hello Andrew, I was hoping to take a quick look at GDAL before the RC2 build. For the "GDAL plugin freezing problem", do you have a ticket logged or a brief description of the problem? Currently, all of the plugins are 32 bit so they will not work on a 64 bit build. A freeze or other bad behaviour would certainly be expected if the 32 bit plugins are used on a 64 bit build.
