Upgrade to MGOS 2.2 (there were a lot of problems with 2.1 connecting to
PostGIS/Postgres).  Use the OSGeo.PostgreSQL FDO provider.  Follow the other
well documented online tutorials.  

I have connected to PostGIS successfully.  At the moment my PostGIS/Postgres
install/config is pretty much default and installed on the same machine as
MGOS.  Seems to be working very well...

BTW...I can't remember if I used Maestro 2x or 3.0 to configure the
connection.  If you are using 3.0 it could be a Maestro problem, but Jackie
would have probably already told you that.
