Hmm, I spoke too soon -- the Boston buildings SHP I have locally (which I used for testing the extrusion a while back) is not the same as the one posted on that site, even though all the rest of my test data is. So it seems like the data in my link has no roof height. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Jackie, Here is a link to a SHP file containing buildings for Boston, MA with roof height field. http://www.mass.gov/mgis/lidarbuildingfp2d.htm Traian -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jackie Ng Sent: Friday, May 20, 2011 6:50 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [mapguide-users] Spatial data required for implementing new Maestro feature. Hi All, As part of the first post-3.0 release of Maestro (tentatively 3.1), I want to implement support in the Layer Definition editor for specifying elevation/extrusion settings that take effect when said layer is output as KML for consumption in Google Earth. This was a feature introduced with MapGuide RFC 16, that was implemented way back with the release of MapGuide Open Source 1.2 Unfortunately, I have yet to find a suitable piece of spatial data (preferably something publically available) on this big wide web that I could use for testing such an implementation. I am after something like a set of buildings geometries with height or elevation attributes. Format isn't really a concern as long as it can be read via FDO. Any idea where I can get a hold of such data? - Jackie -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Spatial-data-required-for-implementing-new-Maestro-feature-tp6385547p6385547.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
