I should also note that is *NOT* a MapGuide or Maestro issue, this is purely a 
Microsoft issue.  They wrote the original extension and they need to update it 
for 64 bit.

No, that is not correct.  We do it all the time, our in-house servers are using 
that setup.  Use FDO, ODBC, or write your own.  You just can't use the PHP 
extension.
