Your points need to be created as a geometry/geography field, not separate x and y fields.

Thank you for the link. Shape2SQL connects to my database just fine, but after it runs and I try to see if there are any changes with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, it appears as if no new tables were created. I tried creating a sample table with an ID (int), POINT_X (geometry) and POINT_Y (geometry) column and ran the tool again and it still did not input any values. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Best-way-to-incorperate-non-spatial-data-from-a-database-tp6426773p6426974.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
