Hell, I'm sorry to ask a maybe stupid question, but I'm a beginner on MapGuide and have to fight to understand how it works (I've read the different documentations on http://mapguide.osgeo.org/ but unfortunately there are not complete and some are not up to date anymore).
First, I installed MapGuide 2.2 on a Windows / 64 bits and MapGuide Maestro 4.0. Then the samples like Sheboygan. I had some problems with the installation : it seems that some xsd files are missing (MapDefinition-2.3.0.xsd, WatermarkDefinition-2.3.0.xsd, LayerDefinition-2.3.0.xsd). Then in Maestro I fought to find how to create Web Layouts. In fact I haven't find, I use those already present in the sample package. Then I tried to add my own map from a SHP, it works fine in Maestro (the preview is ok) but I don't manage to show it in the Ajax viewer (the viewer works fine for the Sheboygan sample). And any change I do to the package is not reflected in the server (in Maestro, I change the layers, names of weblayout and so on, I package it and load it in MapGuide, but no change in the viewer). How to clean the library (I deleted C:\Program Files (x86)\OSGeo\MapGuide\Server\Repositories\Library but it doesn't change anything)? More simply, how to create a WebLayout in Maestro? If you have a good documentation please don't hesitate to give the links :-) Many thanks Martin -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/How-to-clean-the-libray-tp6982344p6982344.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
