Hi All Using MGOS2.2 I have a problem with maps with many layers (like 100). Only like 20 layers are visible on the map as default, but the map is not working. This works fine using MGOS2.0. I have then tried to validate the map in Maestro (When I could not preview it), and I can see that at some point the ORG Feature source fails: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n4358864/FDOError1.gif
Then all the following OGR feature sources are reported as failed also. After this, no OGR feature source at all is working. If I add a new Feature Source or if I just open an existing one and test the connection it fails: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n4358864/FDOError2.gif Only a restart of MGOS2.2 service resolves the problem. When I validate the map again (after restart of service) it is not the same feature source that breaks, sometimes a lot more are working and sometimes a lot fewer. Common thing is that all the feature sources that follows when the first one breaks, is not working. Seems to be a maximum number of file handles or some other limit is met? Have anyone experienced something similar? Also does anyone know how to make FDO tell (log file?) a more detailed description than just: "An exception occurred in FDO component." I know perhaps this should go in the FDO forum, but since I can only reproduce using MapGuide OpenSource 2.2, I created the message in this forum.
