You cannot debug 64-bit ASP.net MapGuide applications through the built-in VS
web server as that is a 32-bit application.

This is the default choice for ASP.net applications. You have to debug
though local IIS (it's some project setting in there)

You have to UAC-elevate VS in order to debug with local IIS.

And yes you should not use any CPU but the arch that matches the bit ness of
your MapGuide installation.

I also don't understand how MapGuideDotNetApi is still referenced. The
assemblies have been split for quite some time.
