Thanks Jackie. I will be just performing CRUD on the feature attributes so will further research on this Java API. Now, you mentioned that MapGuide Open Source 2.5 has a MapGuideApiEx.jar (with matching -sources.jar). Is there a way I can obtain just that without having to go through a new install (since it is bundled)? I currently have MG Open Source 2.2 installed and will not be able to update now because we already have it deployed.
Do any of the API documentation examples : sheboygan and javasamples actually contain java servlets? When i looked through all i saw was JSPs (with embeded java code in them). Since I am trying to use the MgFeatureService class (to do the CRUD on SDF data), I was under the impression i would have to use java servlets but in the API examples I only see JSPs. Sorry that some of my questions may be basic, i am trying to get my head wrapped around some of the concepts. ----- -mapguidenoob -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/reading-and-editing-SDF-data-with-java-tp5044300p5046484.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
